My Return

Wow! It's been more than a year since I last wrote anything on my blog. This needs to change! I miss writing and I liked being able to have a place to go where I could speak fluent in fashion. I go back to school tomorrow. It has been a wonderful, relaxing spring break. Here is a little tidbit of inspiration on this fine Sunday night.

Unexpected Love Wardrobe

We don't expect love. Sometimes it just comes knocking on our door, completely in the midst of our daily lives. When it does come though, it leaves you happy, content, smiley faced, red cheeked, gleeful, and giggly. So what's a girl to do when love shows up? You better get these basics down. Things to have on our back burner just in case that special someone wants to see you in fifteen minutes. Now keep in mind, this doesn't have to be a love interest, it could be a potential boss, or an enemy. Anyone your gonna want to impress. Now, I realize that you might dress differently to a job interview then a spicy encounter with and old foe. Although take this as a handy trinket of useful information darling: no piece of clothing can be as beautifully versatile as the ever crisp, god almighty, black blazer. Now, honey I know what your probably thinking.. "A blazer..um how does that work? " Well, the blazer could be paired with a classic button down for the interview. With crazy curve highlighting pants and a sparkle top for the enemy. And for the lover, maybe a simple dark wash jeans and vintage rock tee combo. That's all I got for today lovelies. I will be coughing up some more splendid style advice, for only true fashion speaking girls next week. And, as for the love part of this fashion equation, wear your heart on your sleeve. Don't let the world twist, and squeeze, and mold you into something your not. Be yourself, let that be enough for Him. Because truly, if he finds a girl as wonderful as you, and, you can speak fluent fashion ontop of that..well honey bun you outdid yourself once again! Love and Peace Always - Sara

Welcome to Fluent in Fashion.

It really is strange how in life, we can be in a certain place, with certain smells, and certain people that can make you feel a certain way. Although this is good because in life we feel nostalgia, and you will remember things. That is exactly what Fluent in Fashion is for. It will be my place to share with you my memories. The things that inspire me, whether they are colors, pictures, chic styles or mementos. Let's enjoy this ride. -Sara
